Principal and founder of GVC, Ltd., Gwen Carroll brings her fervent
commitment to effective, results-oriented advocacy and counsel for
individual and corporate clients in:

Gwen is an honors graduate of DePaul University College of Law,
where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the DePaul Law Review.
She brings her prior experience as a partner in two of
Chicago’s most prominent law firms to deliver high-impact results to
her clients.
In the advocacy arena, Gwen’s practice includes extensive civil
litigation and trial experience in state and federal forums,
National Labor Relations Board proceedings, Illinois Human Rights
Commission hearings, industrial and commercial arbitrations, and
federal and state wage-and-hour proceedings.
In the transactional context, Gwen regularly negotiates complex employment and partnership agreements for senior executives, management employees, and partnering professionals.
Committed to finding the root causes of workplace conflict, Gwen has
conducted numerous corporate in-house seminars aimed at training
both upper-level management and first-level supervisors to
understand the situations that can create liability for the
employer, the operation of good complaint procedures, and the
importance of prompt, thoughtful, and thorough investigations.
Gwen is a contributing author to the Bureau of National Affairs’
books
Sexual Harassment in Employment Law and Age Discrimination in
Employment Law, and she speaks frequently on a multitude of employment law topics.
